Opportunities to rent throughout the year
We are open for business all year round. The weather is generally lovely and warm from March to the end of October, however we have installed full central heating via a log burning stove for colder evenings or winter visits. Shops such as bakery , butcher, green grocer and supermarkets are 5 minutes drive and the quaint and bustling town of Kyparissía with harbour and beautiful beaches barely 7 minutes drive. The brand new kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, cooker, large fridge-freezer and microwave with panini maker, orange juicer and all catering equipment and dining ware. Our basic stay package includes a welcome hamper of Tamsorella’s hand-made and local produce. Typical contents would include jars of gourmet honeycomb and honey, hand made marmalade, a flagon of Villa Levanda extra virgin olive oil , a jar of hand-cured Kalamon olives and handmade limoncello or pomegranate liqueur. The fridge will also be stocked with milk, cheese, eggs and wine. We can also recommend a number of excellent local taverns for dining out.
The bathrooms are stocked with Tamsorella’s signature aromatherapy soap, bath and body care products.
Freshly laundered bed linen, bathroom and beach towels are provided weekly and additional freshly laundered linen and towels on request. The cupboards contain spare linen, pillows, duvets, iron and ironing board, hairdryer. The lodge is equipped with high speed internet, WiFi and large smart screen TV.

We would love to share his experiences of this beautiful environment with you and would be pleased to offer the following activities to make your holiday a special and unique experiences. Tamara is currently in U.K. and therefore unable at to provide her aromatherapy and herbalist tour packages , signature Aromatherapy and herbal workshops or personal consultations at this current time. However she is able to hold zoom consultations and respond to calls on any herbal health and wellness topic




Archaeological sites and beauty spots
Bill will take you on an informative cultural guided visit to some of of most famous local archaeological sites, museums and areas of natural beauty, such as Olympia, Messene, Polylimnia waterfalls, Nestor’s palace and Pylos castle without the hassle of getting there yourselves and with the benefit of visiting with a knowledgeable guide. Lunch will usually be purchased from tavernas near or at the sites.

Boat trips to local beauty spots along the coast
A unique chance to visit local islands such as Proti and Zakynthos and to visit beautiful unspoilt beaches, coves and take lunch in gorgeous harbours such as Pylos with an experienced skipper and with Bill as a guide on our large and luxurious Sunseeker boat, which transports up to 8 additional persons.

Flight Information
There are several ways reach Bill’s property by air at Lavender Lodge. The nearest airport is Kalamata,
which is only a forty-five-minute drive from your accommodation; Zakynthos airport is the
next nearest but this will involve a ferry trip to the mainland (one hour) and a drive of one
and a half hours from Kyllini harbour; and lastly Athens International Airport is a three-hour
drive away. Further details of each are given below.
Kalamata
There are seasonal flights to Kalamata (usually April to October) from many countries,
including the UK (BA from Heathrow, Easyjet from Gatwick), Italy, Austria, Belgium and
Germany. In addition, several airlines operate flights to and from a number of different cities,
eg Aegean Airlines fly to Kalamata from Germany, Denmark, France, Italy, Sweden and
Russia; Thomas Cook fly from Birmingham, Manchester and Gatwick; and Ryanair are
beginning a service ( 1st June, 2019) from London-Stansted.
There are seasonal (usually April to October) flights to Zakynthos from many countries: UK
(London, Manchester, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Belfast, East Midlands,
Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle), Austria, Romania, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Denmark,
Switzerland, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Czech. A taxi from the airport to the ferry terminal
takes 10 minutes and costs around 13 euro. Ferries to Kyllini (one hour) run four times a day
between April and October and cost 9 euro for foot-passengers. The transfer from Kyllini
takes one hour and thirty minutes and costs 40 euro each way per group.
It is easy to pick up a hire car (four-wheel-drive is recommended) from Kalamata Airport,
Zakynthos Airport and Athens International Airport, or we can meet you to transfer you from
the airport to your accommodation in Lavender Lodge. You may prefer to hire your own
transport, but the cost of our tours includes all transport on the tours themselves. Please
note that there is an extra charge of £100 each way per group for transfers from and to
Athens airport and £40 from and to Kyllini harbour, while Kalamata transfers are free of
charge.
